The board of trustees ensures that the purposes of the Fundación Recal are met, these are:
ASSESSMENT, TREATMENT AND RECOVERY OF PATIENTS WITH AN ADDICTION OR BEHAVIOURAL DISORDER.
SOCIAL REINSERTION AND EMPLOYMENT OF PATIENTS.
CONTINUED PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF THERAPISTS WHO ARE SPECIALISTS IN ADDICTION TREATMENT.
The board of trustees of the charity is comprised of people prominent in the field of addiction treatment, healthcare and business, so that the purposes of the charity can be fully guaranteed. The board of trustees works with enormous dedication to ensure that the charity`s mission is fulfilled whilst also benefitting those affected by addiction.

The board of trustees is chaired by Maximilian Von Habsburg, who founded Fundación Recal in 2001.

Mr. Jaime Ardid Martínez-BordiÚ
Educated in the English world, Jaime develops his professional carreer managing important international groups. His personal growing concerns lead him to continuous meditation and emotional intelligence training, and thus to spiritual growth.
MRS PATRICIA LÓPEZ EWERT
Degree in Law from the Universidad Autónoma of Madrid.
A person with a great concern for society; who has always worked in management positions with a great vocation for service.

President of various sports organisations and associations. Recognised Olympic athlete and businessman. Dedicated to Recal’s mission.
H.E. AMBASSADOR JEAN MARIE MUSY
After developing a career as ambassador in different countries he is currently the Ambassador of the Order of Malta in Madrid.
D. Carl Von SChönburg
A well respected German entrepreneur currently residing in London as a Real Estate Investment Adviser.
D. Gonzalo Aguirre González
Gonzalo is currently completing an MBA at IESE. Previously he has developed his professional career in investment banking working at Altamar Advisory Partners for more than four years, LarrainVial in Santiago de Compostela, Chile, as well as at JP Morgan in London.
