Nick has worked as a psychotherapist in the United States for a large part of his professional career. He was director of the prestigious treatment centre Clouds House in the UK and is one of the founders of Action on Addiction.
Nick currently works as an independent consultant for various private and public entities.
Kirby Gregory is a Cognitive Analytic Psychotherapist and supervisor. He has worked in the addiction field since 1991. He was Head of Treatment at Clouds House from 1999 until taking up the role of Treatment Director for Action on Addiction in 2007. Since leaving the charity in 2015 he has worked with Nick Barton as a consultant, assisting with programme design and supervision for European clients.
Specialist in addictions and clinical interventionist with more than 25 years of experience working with people affected by addiction, their families and as a sober companion for addicts.
Dave is one of the founders of the UKESAD annual conference, held in the UK about addiction treatment. He has worked both in the private (The Priory Hospital, Roehampton, Life Works Community and Sharp Outpatient) and public (director of the addiction rehabilitation service for UK prisons) sectors.

Families need the support of public institutions and in order to help those suffering from addictions, we have always fostered programmes from the CAID.
In addition, with our drive to improve and always offer excellent services we have supported Fundación RECAL by allowing the land where the centre is located in Majdahonda to be used for a therapeutic and residential space.
The CAID is a public service belonging to the Department of Social Wellbeing, Health, Elderly and Family of Majadahonda Council, in collaboration with the Government Department for Public Health in the Community of Madrid.
It offers support and treatment to people with addiction problems and their families that live in the following municipalities: Majadahonda, Pozuelo de Alarcón, Las Rozas, Villanueva de Cañada, Villanueva del Pardillo, Boadilla del Monte, Brunete and Quijorna.
The main objective is to offer an integrated, multidisciplinary treatment tailored to each individual.
The CAID also offers counselling services for families and preventative programmes in different areas (schools, families and community).
